At 18 years old, I moved to Minnesota for two years, and became fluent in the Hmong language. As I spoke with the Hmong people, a love for the culture and people grew in my heart.

I realized that at least in the U.S., the Hmong language is slowly dying as less and less kids learn to speak it. It was devastating to see, and I wanted to do something to make a difference.

I created this course because if someone like me, not even knowing who Hmong people are at first can become fluent in Hmong, so can you!
